I have a family of "regulars" who attend my Thursday evening shows... Father, mother, son, daughters, grand-daughters,... and ALL excellent singers. The patriarch had his own Rock & Roll band back in the 60's, while the mother was just given a big party by their church having just retired after 40+ years as the choir director.
These are some of my favorite people, and I'll go the extra mile to accommodate their wishes wherever possible... but as of last evening, I'm stumped.
Apparently, they've recently sung the old gospel song "Whispering Hope" in church, and asked if I had the karaoke version. Unfortunately, I don't... and I really don't know where to find it... I see it on YouTube, so I know it's available... but I just don't know where, or how to go about purchasing it. I'd prefer a download, since I only need the single track, but would be happy to buy a CD if that would be the only way.
Any help/suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Here's a note in the "don't try stuff at 3:00 in the morning when you've had a couple of drinks" category.
I found the track... in fact, several versions at Christwill music... Went through the procedures... got an account... and downloaded not one, but two versions of "Whispering Hope"... each with and without background vocals... for a total of 4 downloads, and a little over $17 on my VISA card.
But I didn't read the fine print... Actually, I'm not sure I looked at the large print either... because all of the tracks I downloaded were simple MP3s... NO CDg tracks..
Sent them an email this morning... Nope, they don't have CD+g available for download... only MP3. They have the physical CDs available, but that'll take too much time with the way the mail works trans-border lately. So, I'll just chalk up the $17 loss as a lesson in stupidity.
In the meantime, I still don't have the CD+g..... Grrrrrrr!
See! I'm not nearly as smart as you thought I am. And obviously, I'm not nearly as smart as I thought I am either.
Oh well... it's Friday... and the beginning of another weekend... Have a great day Folks, and be good to each other.

I’m still apprehensive in downloading tracks from karaoke channel (owned by stingray, meaning sc tracks). I read in one of the discussions here that kc tos states: “you agree to use the service/products for personal, non-commercial use only” or words to that effect. I could be wrong on this or maybe their tos has changed thru the years.
Anyway, applied to Earl, he’s probably fine. He’s from Ontario, Canada & karaoke channel is home based in Quebec, Canada.
Just expressing mho & I’m not dissing Bazinga or Earl. On the contrary I’m grateful kc was suggested, that maybe somehow resolve the situation so to speak as I am seeking clarification so I can include them to my goto download sites, i.e. tricera & kv.
I have NO intention whatsoever to turn this into a legalities discussion!
