I would tell them to go by the rules or don't bother coming back.

I just say, "Everybody boo this person for putting in different names, unless (their real name) wishes to buy us all a round, then CHEERS !"

Puts them on the spot. I had one actually buy the whole bar a round. Even those not singin'. I bet after he paid the charge he never did that again.

when they do that they get bumped a round per extra ticket and i do a pretty good job remembering if has happened with the same person on other nights, if it has they don't get to sing. PERMA-BAN

I don't use slips anymore. If you had tried that at my show, you'd lose singing privileges for the night. It is cheating.
