Looking at whether i bother ripping these discs, I picked up a few on the cheap, but other than adding numbers not sure anyone would actually sing them? Any advice?

You never know what you need until you don't have it. I would rip them. But then again I have done a number of church functions before.

I have lots of biblcal style songs, just not sure the southern gospel goes down as well here in Australia...
