Well july 1st. i go under the knife for my colon surgery, i guess they are gonna remove about 18 inches. well at least, hopefully they will be able to perform it laproscoptically with no colostomy bag and just 6 weeks healing time. i hope none of my fellow karaoke friends have to ever deal with this EAT MORE FIBER! This all started with being diagnosed with diverticulitis about 10 years ago. so ya'll say a little prayer for me .......cal

Hi Cal, WOW sorry to hear about this. Yep eats LOTS of fiber and cut back on the red meats/ processed meats too. Under went this same thing four years ago. Had no idea I even had cancer, untill one day I started passing blood. They put me through 6 months of raditation and chemo in just 10 weeks. Then removed between 8 and 10 inches of the lowest section of my colon. had a bag for 3 months, but it was reversed. and back to using my own plumbing. Tell you what, I Learned a whole new respect for little babies, and how they feel with a bad case of diaper rash... OMG... That was four years ago, and things are still on the up side. You will be in our Prayers, and I'm sure you'll do just fine.. Hey Buddy, You've got way to many more sings to do. So just do what the Dr's say and keep in touce.. We're here for you, anytime.. Your Pal, Tom

I need to know the year of your birth and as a wicca I will do prayers.. When you go in for operation we can all burn a candle. The cat will protect you. I burn one now and get good vibes. I also burn sage.

OK I burn the sage. Notice how the smoke is narrow and goes up to all that is good. It must be spread with a broad feather.
