Just got and email from mp3gmusic saying Karaoke downloads for "commercial" use in THE USA is now available. Sure enough went to the site clicked on the USA side for ERG MUSIC and downloaded Justin Bieber -- Never Let You Go.mp4. A SUNFLY screen came up. ERG MUSIC is for professionals in the industry and are not for the open public I think this has something to do with the commercial use agreement. Has anyone else been using these downloads?

Can I use this?

We have seen this before. That is the Tricerasoft download site in the center, framed in a crappy webpage created by someone else.

They are doing this in the hopes you click through any of the links. Any purchases in the center area make them money too through the Tricerasoft affiliate program. The others are probably the same.

It's all about the clicks, that's how they make money.

Really who gives a crap about tricerasoft this is about ERG and legal karaoke downloads for commercial use in the USA. Please stick to the thread.

Uh Hem... Excuse me I didn't mean to drop down to your level. What I was trying to say was out of all the discussions about legal downloads in the USA there is now confirmation that "yes" it is legal to download karaoke and play for commercial use. ERG is for the professional and not only does digital mp3's, video's but also now karaoke through Sunfly in the Unitied States. I did not mention anything about Tricerasoft just where I found the information for ERG and SONY. These are big names in the industry and I have not seen any discussion since on the legalities of downloads in the USA since.

Are things happening?

Can I respectfully request that you either cut and paste or else post the link to directly where it explains the legalities. All that I could find were that they were "availbable" and a banner that said, "Check with the indivifual karaoke manufacturer to determine if their downloads are legal in the US."

I didn't see anything that specifically stated the legalities of commercial use either. Please post that link!

The entire interface of your...ahem...I mean ERG/Sony/Sunfly's website is EXACTLY like the Tricerasoft website, even down to the "Copyright ©2009 TriceraSoft." at the bottom of the page. So explain to me why it is well established that TriceraSoft is very very greyish when it comes to legality, but your, i mean this website is 100% virginal, white-as-snow legal?

Like the earlier poster said, this is obviously an affiliate site to the TriceraSoft site, and should not be assumed to be legal!

Please tell us why you think otherwise? Because they stuck a KIAA logo on the site?

Sorry, doesn't say a thing about karaoke being legal. At least what came up for me when I clicked the link.

Yeah I still don't see where it says anything about being legal. A site 'designed for dj's' doesn't mean legal. I would like to see a terms of service or something to that effect in a disclosure stating that these tracks are licensed & legal to use commercially. Otherwise, this just seems like another download site that don't mean anything to me.
