THAT'S IT dagnabbit (sp?)!!!!! I'm going to KMART right now to buy a nice pin striped SUIT to HOST my karaoke shows in!!!
Will it increase my business, ya think?? Come to think of it.... i wasn't aware FASHION was such a big deal in Kansas- middle america.
Should it be a SUIT or a TUXEDO GM??? What do YOU WEAR to HOST???
Since i can't seem to LEARN anything from the other people here at karaoke scene, perhaps YOU can give me MORE professional pointers on HOW to improve BOTH my show and my appearance.
PLEASE INCLUDE MORE TIPS!! I already am NOT fat, or bald, and i DO comb my hair before i go out, unless i'm wearing a baseball cap. Is that okay to do??? HELP GM!!!
And i don't recall anyone saying anything bad about your appearance...? But you DO look like a good looking member of the Sopranos- how's that?

Your website is far worse than Blue jean and tshirt and it may be the first introduction to you and your business that many may have. Grow up, take english lessons and learn to take criticism constructively Another one who can't spell grammar correctly. sigh! When will it end?
the point WAS to spell it incorrectly broooooose

You did only ask about the logo and I also stated that I might be overstepping my bounds. Having said that, however, I don't think you realize that we are only trying to HELP you, not hurt you. You are so tuned in to looking for the knife in your back that you're going to find it, even if it doesn't exist. As for karaoke being "BORING!" without the bubble machine and other gimmicks, perhaps it's time you had a re-think about what profession you're in and whether you should continue. People go to sing, not see bubble machines, etc. In fact, I probably would leave such a show. I would find that stuff far too annoying to stick around. Again, you've missed the point.
No one was attacking YOU, personally.
No one is going to lie and tell you your site is perfect when it isn't. That would do far more harm to you than telling you the truth.
The criticism was constructive and, I thought, rather helpful.
Absolutely nothing personal in it.
It was pure business.
If you can't handle it, perhaps it's time to get out.

Honestly it's hilarious why you would be more concerned about a logo that says NOTHING about you or your company rather than listening to some constructive criticism about the actual website that says ALOT about you & your company!
I guess this goes along with the ridiculous rules you put in place & would rather look like an idiot rather than someone who is actually articulate in speaking!
Logo looks great, the rest looks like an elementary school child designed...take it for what it's worth!

OH......The WHAT????
I think Kelsey Grammar ruined your nice logo website GM....sorry.
I hope that "appearances" don't supercede "substance" in your business.
....It may work for blondes with tigolbiddys but NOT for business.

Asked about the logo, not the logo only.
Didn't not ask about the website.

I know... I AM fat! OMG
At least I run a decent show, had a nice site while it was up (and coming back up soon, BTW), and don't have rules to insult my patrons, nor am I quite the Karaoke Nazi.
Hmmm, I'll take Fat over being a mousy looking jerkoff anyday!

, why do you not respond about the comments that have been made ! I'm beginning to think you never cared what anyone had to say in the first place. I have on 3 occasions posted about it and you haven't responded to my input or anyone elses.
I don't think you ever wanted help in the 1st place. I'm beginning to think it was all a ploy just to have people look at your website because you are proud of it. You could have just posted a picture of the logo, but you put a link to the entire website with the post heading "What do you think?". Hmmmmmm

Omigosh, thanks for the chuckles when I so badly need them - too late a gig night, and a very long day of work ahead of me. I'm looking more and more to this site for comic relief. This thread is such a great example. Gemini, just fix the grammar and syntax within your website. Why not appear as professional as possible? Bring it back when it's done and see what kind of reaction you'll get.

OMG, JR, I can't believe that after all of this I have to point out that it's
"pin-stripped", not "pin stripped".

The consultation and perhaps hiring of a wordsmith might be advantageous at this time. My website does lure potential customers and schedules private parties. BTW I do have a special offer from DJ Intelligence and can give you a 2 month free tria. PM if interested.

OMG.
How embarrassing. Of course the pins were striped, not stripped. But, then again, the lines in the fabric could be a strips; couldn't they?
And if they are, then, "pin-stripped" would probably work! Nah...
Well, actually, to be safe, we should ask JR. After all, it was his post in the first place
Yoo Hoo, JR, was the fabric striped or stripped?

Of course it was.
But he might of meant "stripped", couldn't he?
And "stripped" is so much sexier than "striped", particularly when hyphenated
Let's see. "Pin-striped" means the pin has stripes? Or does it mean that the stripes are made of pins?
Remember, in either case the hyphen was missing!
Oh, maybe we should just drop it?
