i didn't catch that. a buddy of mine from a bass club sent it and NO i don't wanna get nibbled on by THAT thing! i've been scuba diving in travis and i have seen some HUGE catfish, though. they're relatively harmless unless you invade their space.

That is right, they would and prolly wouldn't thing twice about it.... Can you imagine how much butter you would need for a fish that size....Might as well cook it like a pig (dig a whole in the ground)

We were anchored out in Montego Bay Jamacia Down there you can down and see for fathoms.. There was a bunch of sand sharks 4-6 feet cruising the bottom and Jonsey said we couldnt catch one of those.. I said go get a chunck of onfrozen meat and a coat hanger, just joking...Next thing I knew he was standing there saying wat we gonna use for line? A boatswain mate showed with a small nylon line (it was on a light criuser and 50 feet to the water) So we fashioned a hook out of the hanger took a bite on it baited it a genltly lowered it into the water.. About half way down a couple of sharks left the bottom and made a beeline for it... somebody said oh sh&t... Grab ahold so about 4 of us put tension on the line and next thing we knew all hell broke loose. It was all we could do to lift him up and over the life lines.. There was 50 sailors whooping and hollering and about 10 trying to hold that thing down and stay out of the way of 2 rows of the sharpest teeth in the world... A young officer came up You are all on report Jonsey and I were laughing so hard we we were crying The ensign looked at me and in a young officers attempt at giving a salty order said take that hook out of his mouth.. I looked up at him and said you take that hok out of his mouth I aint puttin my hand in there...So he was standing there not knowing what to do about that time the hook popped out...Push him over the side!!!! So we got him over the rail and he hit the water with a big pop and disappeared in a flash... So I know what was goin thru those guys minds.. One of those priceless experiences...

that's the $64 question. i think it has something to do with how greasy they are.......the fries, not the french....although i guess the french could be considered greasy as well. not the french canadians, though. or the cajun french. those guys are just cool!
damn! is it mudbug season yet?! ![drool ](./images/smilies/emot-drool.gif)

I'll tell ya what's good...
Lemon-Pepper chicken cooked in a Showtime Rottisserie! Just set it and forget it.
The aroma ALONE makes ya ravenous!

Crystal that is soooo wrong. The only way to have a steak is blue on a BBQ. You know, about 5-10 seconds on one side and the same with the other side, then dig in and savour. At least a pound of steak for a meal.
French fries in French is "pommes de frites".

I love a big, thick porterhouse steak hand rubbed with seasonings, marinated over night and chargrilled on high heat until the middle 1 inch is rare. Served it with Texas toast and a loaded baked potato, chili, cheese, sour cream, onions & jalapeno peppers. (Not French fries or now they are supposed to be called "Liberty Fries") Throw in a few ice cold Budweisers, my easy chair and ottoman so I can lay back fo a couple of hours and I'll be as happy as A Pig in a Mudpuddle.

Quote: fat and crap
According to some, this appears to be my favorite <shrug>.. other pseudonyms have been, "junk" ,"Heart attack on a plate" ,"Why don't you just drink bacon fat directly from the coffee can instead?","you're clogging your arteries", etc...
Oh, I don't have one particular favorite type of "fat and crap" either. All depend's on the mood I'm in.
