You mean my retaliation makes me look like an idiot, don't you? Icky started it a looooong time ago. I'm just playing along. Icky seems to think that's she's all big and bad and that she can intimidate everyone. She seems to think that she runs the roost here and that she can control everyone else's behavior. For the most part, it works. She has many sheep in her flock of fluffers who do whatever she tells them to. I don't want to be part of her flock. I'm my own person and I do what makes me happy; not what makes Icky happy. I don't tell every lousy singer that they sound better than the original singer so I'm the "bad guy" around here. So be it. Icky and her friends get off telling each other how great they sing. I don't play along with the BS so she likes to jump on every thing I do because I won't be one her sheep. Singers Showcase is definitely not about showcasing the really talented singers on the site. Singers Showcase is more of a back scratching site. Some of the best singers play the fluff game as well as the lousy singers. If I have to lie to someone to get them to listen to me sing; I'd rather they didn't listen to me sing. I'd rather have a handful of honest listeners than a couple dozen liars who leave a comment on my song just so I'll leave another lying comment on their latest song. Some of the worst singers I've ever heard on this site get dozens of people telling them how great they sing and all I can do is laugh about it. If I dare tell them the truth, the Fluff Brigade comes out of the woodwork to attack the brazen invader. If I give an honest opinion, I get called all sorts of names by the "good people" on the site. I love the hypocrisy of it all. Apparently it's okay to call people idiots and it's okay to call people twats but it's a MORTAL SIN to call someone a "bad singer" Heck! I've even been called a bad singer by a few of the fluffers as their way of getting even with me for criticizing one of their members. That always gives me a chuckle. Some of the same people that used to tell me what a great voice I have when I first started posting songs here; now avoid my songs like the plague because I won't join the fluff brigade. I love it. They would rather listen to another fluff member butcher one Rolling Stones' song after another and tell her how wonderfully she sings than listen to someone that can sing 100 times better. It's the equivalent of buying a William Hung CD when you can buy a Daughtry CD. I'm not going to waste my time commenting on something I don't like just to get phony "fans" to come to my songs and leave comments. I already know that I can sing and I appreciate the people who enjoy my singing without my having to scratch their backs with lies to get them to say so.

tsk tsk, it does sound a bit like sour grapes doesnt it...probably becos I have never told brooooose that he sounds good. He does that quite enough for himself.

As for the rest of the diatribe, it is my business if I wish to encourage folks and look at the bigger picture...by that I mean take note of how a person's subs have improved since the very first time they subbed. I too credit subbing here for a vast improvement of my subs and in helping me push boundaries and sing stuff I never would have thought to do.

Sadly broooose you make an idiot of yourself over and over, I would suggest an anger management course...but I would feel sorry for the instructor.
