I don't believe you or Mcky answered anything! Which is not surprising to me.
Seemingly I don't write English clearly enough for either of you!

All I am saying is that you seem to imply here that once you select the import command that S & D takes over and imports without any user input when that simply is not true. The user selects which folders to import

One of the things to be very aware of when using S&D Software is that there are no built-in safeguards against importing duplicate files. If you import a folder labeled "a", S&D will immediately thereafter, upon command, import the very same folder labeled "a".
If you actually read it, I never indicate that the S&D software (itself) selects what folders to import or that S&D "takes over" the function. I clearly indicated what might happen would occur "upon command". So pray tell why made you infer something quite to the contrary. I never implied or hinted, as how you interpreted my post, that anyone but the user is responsible for determining what S&D imports. In fact, my reference to "brainfarts" should have made it clear enough response for you to deduce exactly what I had said.

Your method would work, never said it wouldn't...but it is not the only solution. to DJ Tuck's question.
Ah, but it is one of only two solutions I know of to eliminate duplicate tracks and the other would require that the duplicated tracks constantly be eliminated from the zip file(s) containing the Karaoke tracks!!!
Now, what is the solution that you have in mind?
And to suggest that Compuhost is a solution when I am using S&D software and have no problem with is both presumptuous and ridiculous. And from what was offered by DJTuck in this thread there's no evidence that he has a problem with S&D either. I know I would never change software just to avoid the inconvenience of duplicate tracks cropping up on occasion! Would you change your hosting software for that reason.
So, Mr RLC I am still awaiting you suggestion(s) on software that would eliminate this inconvenience and that is cost-justified as to resolving the issue!!
