I think I remember hearing someone sing that for karaoke once.  Metalgod, I must be remembering the lyrics wrong--I was thinking the "saddest show in town" was only _15_ cents!  Oh well...

(Maybe it WAS 15 cents and the price went up, and that's why everybody's sad?   LOL  )

I had a friend that desparetely wanted "Spread Your Wings" by Queen. I searched for a very long time before findng it online from an obscure australian co (don't recall the name now). There is a song I doubt you will find too often.

I gotta tell you guys something funny:  You know, just a little while ago we were discussing "Side Show", and not long after that, I heard an instrumental version of that song over the PA system here in my office building!

(They play "elevator music" in the halls and in the bathrooms here.  Sometimes it's not so bad, but sometimes it's a bit annoying, especially in the bathroom!  I can pee and poo just fine _without_ musical accompaniment, thank you very much!)

While we're on the subject of rare songs:

Does anyone know if Van Morrison's "Tore Down a la Rimbaud" is available for karaoke?  I was going to request it on Sound Choice's forum, but now their #%@*@(#$@ forum is closed!

Yeah SC forums shut down.  Maybe because of all the unfullfilled requests and the songs I sing I've got to get across the pond to tell what I'm singing.

And the Sunfly, SBI, and other songs I sings is my own, so basically every venue has that song that no ones heard.   I like the time I sing Alice in Chains Rooster, and I see two or three guys looking in the book when they hear the first chords of the song.

Unfortunately, if you want new songs anymore you pretty much have to forget about Sound Choice and are stuck with the British manus like SBI, Sing To The World, and Sunfly. I've heard "Rooster"  by AIC on SBI and this version ROCKS.

All their songs are very good.  I've had them for a couple years now, and still 'almost' exclusively in our area.
