Besides hosting KARAOKE shows do you DJ also or Provide any other live entertainment?

Yes, as well as karaoke, I also do stand-alone DJ, kids parties with ability to cross book face painting and magicians.

So AllStar Entertainment would suit better, and just tailor as needed.

Since you DJ as well as Entertain , you need to keep KARAOKE out of your name. You should put it on your cards, advertisement  and paperwork as a service or specialty.  But someone looking for a WEDDING DJ or for some other FORMAL type HIGH PAYING gig .....won't look TWICE at you with the word KARAOKE in your business name.  That's the truth!
I've seen  the following used instead of Karaoke :

Entertainment
Productions
Production Company
Mobile Entertainment

Am 100% in agreement.  The word "Karaoke" to some means "crass" (heck it can sometimes have that meaning to me).

"______ Entertainment" is much more suitable, as I can have certain cards done different ways - mentioning different things, heck even themed differently (classy ones for weddings, etc).  Also I run a regular PubQuiz on a wednesday night - that is another string to the bow!

AllStar Mobile Entertainment is kinda cool though

Ah yes, the Opus. I often have new tunes float around in my head, therefore I have unfinished/unpolished compositions simply labeled:

Charm's fiddle opus # 1
Charm's flat pick guitar opus #2
Charm's mandolin opus #3

etc......  LMAO

I'm not good at idea's for a name, or I'd pitch a few out there. Heck, I struggle for hours each time I try and think of a new screen name or email addy...

If you're looking for something to do with a deck of cards, gosh, you have endless possibilities though. I always thought Babs' gig name was cool, can't go wrong with that one.

Uh, you seem to know me quite well

I think I shuld point out, this is the UK.  We are possibly a LOT lighter on KJ's over here than over there!  The general feeling people here have given is that it's a bit cheesy, but karaoke is a bit cheesy.

BUT - I can already picture a very classy logo for "AllStar" which wouldn't look naff at all.

The card thing - the name "Wild Joker" keeps popping into my head.  Or maybe as simple as "Aces _____" - but I feel that's referring to me as "Ace", and that's quite arrogant.

"BlackJack ________" isn't too bad I guess, and could easily adapt a logo to that...

Everyone asks for help with stuff like this here, and of course you want to pick the right name. Not likely that you're going to want to change it later, right? So you may as well pick the best one to start out.

Actually, Allstar Entertainment might not be a bad choice at all. For one, if you're going to list in the yellow/white pages, since it starts with "A", it will put you up close to the top of the list. Lots of businesses choose A names just for that reason. Lots of people just start at the top of the phone book listing and go down. (i know i do, when i have no referrals to go off of)

Blackjack is cool also. Something about that name sounds kinda pirate-like. Sort of manly and mysterious.  :D

Now, I don't know how it is in your neck of the woods, but at most places I've been to around here, titles like that could get you sued for false advertisement by innocent bystanders (by-listeners?)

Am thinking of sticking with "AllStar".  Again, remember the UK market is very different.  Karaoke is seen as a bit naff, but a lot of fun.

But then again, I do more than just karaoke, and need also to be classy at times (weddings).  So I will brand differently for different occasions.

Any feedback on these?
