My perspective after many years and multiple venues is I can get a great crowd through the door but it is up to the venue as to wheather or not they'll keep coming back. I've opened with 3 new Bar/Resturants that eventually went out of business. On the flip side I'm on my 3rd and 4th owners on some others. Most karaoke venues are small business related. These businesses owners statistical average around 4 years. Close to the same time frame of average KJ's before they burn-out. I haven't seen to many shows at any Applebee's of Chilli's.
