I'm sorry if I have misled you.
The smell is really just ONE small factor in the whole equation.
The smell is not something that permeates the whole bar and it's not a strong smell.
As I said, it's not THAT bad. I think it originates from an on again / off again leak in a pipe near the entrance.
The pipe leaks every now and again, drips onto the carpet and it never gets cleaned.
They sometimes put out buckets to catch the drip, but really, the owners of the hotel that the club is in should be fixing it (they lease the club out), but they haven't bothered in the 6 years I've been around.
So when you enter the club, that's the first thing you smell, but again, it's not THAT bad, just something that is there and nocticeable (and not always, either) when you come in from the fresh air outside.
Once you're fully in the club, the smell isn't there.(And no, it's NOT because you get used to it, unless you can get used to it in about 30 seconds).
My setup is way on the other side of the bar, nowhere near the leak so it doesn't really affect me.
