After reading many posts and receiving all the feedback, I am leaning towards the CARVIN powered speakers LM12A/LM15A (molded series) or LSx1202A/LSx1502A (wood series).

It sounds like that these Carvin are very good alternatives in term of power/quality/support/price (made in USA with 3 year warranty) and fit my budget.
