The Behringer K1800FX costs $299. The Fender Passport in the 150W size typically runs $499. I have used a friend's Passport and find the Behringer to have a bigger and cleaner sound, probably due to the Behringer's 12" woofer as compared to the 5.5" woofers used in the Passport. The main advantage of the Fender unit is that it weighs 28 pounds, compared to the hefty 44 pounds of the Behringer.
Each mixer channel of the Behringer has a separate effects send, so I am okay in that respect. The only thing lacking is individual EQ on mixer channels. In my tests, that hasn't been a problem.

FWIW = I've used a non powererd Behringer Mixer in the past for years without any problems. But than again I did get a POWERED MIXER that was D..O.A. and was replaced no problems and has worked ever since ..You just never know

Hi marks for the Tascam 2488. Though no backup Keychange for the player, it DOES include digital performance storage AND burn!
