Again, thanks a bunch to Lonman, LondonLive & everybody else.
I believe I am "better" confused now.

Based on your feedback, I can conclude that the above systems, either active or passive - which cost about the same (<$1000) - would produce similar sound quality.
I was hoping that going passive with the C112V/S112V or C115V/S115V coupled with a QSC GX5 would have some edge over the active speakers but it doesn't seem to be that way.
It actually sounds like at best, the passive system would come close to the active ones but not the other way around.

So maybe I'd go active for simplicity and light-weight... but besides the QSC HPR or Yorkville NX, I am not very attracted by the horny look of the rest...
Or I'd just stick with the passive b/c I like the Yamaha Club C series look better... but then it weights quite a bit more too...
Decision... decision...

Hmmm, Guitar Center is having a sale this w.e. so I'm planning to head there checking this whole stuffs out.
Then maybe I'll just flip a coin...
