It never occurred to me that people would associate that name with the characters from "Mad Max-Beyond Thunderdome". I keep having to explain that the company is not named after a giant retarded guy and a midget.

That's OK... I never saw "Mad Max...," so I would never have known that reference.

I'm aware of Chris Carters production company, actually a big fan of the X-files. When I registered the company name I went with a different spelling for that reason. The production company is TEN THRITEEN. I went with TEN 13. I actually went this way, because I am a huge Sammy Hagar fan, and his birthday is Oct. 13, and he has an album by the same name. Silly? yea a little but I have been a fan since 1973. So I guess that's OK. :)

KingBingKaraoke Entertainment. My quote is "C'mon Up! I have a song for you!!!"

I used to be called Bing Ding as a kid, then Bing for short. I needed something catchy but easy to remember.

Business cards have been a smashing success, I posted them on another thread, they are shiny on one side and everyone thinks they look great. I've handed out at least a a hundred so far.

Marble Entertainments

Entertainments is obvious

Marble.... My DJ name was Dj Marble, so the name came from that. Marble came about, becuase If you ever look inside a marble, It's like a perfect little world, and that what the company tries to create. . . the perfect little world, inside the big ole mean one that we deal with every day. Plus everybody likes marbles, we play with them as kids and we lose them as adults.

I also having a standing joke with my customers, that if you ever go to show with a male name involved in the company. . . "Stevieoke karaoke" for example, you'll always meet a rather large middle aged man.
A female name, will lead you to a very pretty girl
and an Alphabetically chosen name (to gain higher free listings).. A1, 1st Choice for example will lead to a compay which employs, young, attractive staff that flirt outragously.

In my area, I think there are two karaokes (out of 30 odd) that are the exception which proves the rule :D

Kudos Karaoke. Been working on developing business image for my books, posters, flyers, and business cards following the same logo and imagery.
