Ok, I had an "eagle eyeer" at my gig Saturday. Kept coming up and looking at my rotation on the screen. I had a 19" monitor facing the audience with the scrolling marquee but he said it was too small to read?????? Smoke and mirrors I guess as my laptop is 15". Anyway at one point he came up near the end of the evening and walked away. Then I had 2 singers leave so I pulled them out. They were in front of him but behind others. This moved eagle eye up. He came back about 2 minutes later and accused me of moving him down. I explained nicely to him that I had actually moved him up. He walked away with his hand waving down motion as in "whatever". My trainee just looked at me and shook his head.
This guy gave me a hard time all night about everything. Other negative comments or jives from the entire rest of the group? ZERO. The two guests of honor told me later he is the black sheep of the family and no one can stand him! I still treated him like he was number one.
