This could be the solution to its problem :wink: Also a very common problem when using a Sound Blaster audio card :roll:

I don't know if anyone tried this, but I had this problem too, and I fixed it by turning off the hosts lyric screen & when selection your dual display option in control panel, you need to set the main monitor slider to about the middle resolution, 800x??? and then the secondary screen to LOWEST, this frees up alot of video ram. Sometimes it will automatically reset to highest, just don't keep the setting and repeat the step, and it will stay at the lowest resolution.

It has worked for me and another compuhost user, WITHOUT upgrading our memory. Let me know if it works for you!

No reason to spend extra money on something not needed. Each time I bought my used laptops, I made certain they met and surpassed the requirements listed to run compuhost. Again, compuhost is all I run on mine other than itunes and a spreadsheet I use to take notes during a show. Here are the requirments at the karaokeware site:

I use an external hard drive (USB 3.0 1 tarabyte). I just transferred all my music to it and when we were hosting Karaoke last night, some of the music would skip. What could be causing this? This is the first time it has happened and we have been doing this for almost a year. We use Sax-n-Dotty's software. I appreciate any suggestions on how to fix this problem.
