I run my karaoke without any problems on a IBM Thinkpad T42 (circa 2004) that I bought off EBay for $235.00. They were $2300 computers 5 years ago.

RCL, My answer was in reference to this post. And the original question was about running videos. Just because the computer runs MP3 doesn't mean it will have the processing power to run videos. Class over. Do your homework and prepare for a pop quiz.

Do you run videos? Do you know what it actually takes? I do.

This conversation has just split into two different topics.

I think the original question has to do with the hosting program and the size of the processor needed to run the video with out lag time issues.

The topic suddenly went to feeding the TVs with video. Totally different than the original question.

Since when did you become in charge? It seems like you joined a year ago but kept quiet but I have to say, in the last few days, you have become annoying with your all knowing attitude and bullying ways.

My dongle will not work in the usb hub either.

Yes I do and most if not all on here know how to run videos.

Ready for your pop quiz now. (although I am sure my answers wouldn't satisfy you and your insatiable ego to try and demonstrate your infinite wisdom)

If you think any size processor will run video files than have at it. I know for a fact what i needed to run them. From experience. Not hearsay, speculation or uneducated guessing.

P.S. Why hasen't anyone answered his question then?

I have an idea, you obviously know much more than anyone on this forum, you really should take a break from posting and write a book with all of your infinite knowledge so we can all stand in line to buy it!

Thinking of you and your posts puts me in mind of a certain David Allen Coe song.

Really? I don't actually have a hub, so I wouldn't know. It just says on the packet that it won't work in a hub.

If a pcmia hub is considered a hub the dongle works fine on it for me.

What OS? Do you have windows set to windows classic in display props? Have you run Directx diagnostic checks? How processes do you have running? Do you have memory set on cache and not for programs?
