Pop Hits Monthly have it on their list for Jan 2010 ..I guess we will see what happens
Makes me wonder why some companies get permission and other dont ...oh well I guess money talks

Maybe, as said, some jump the gun on permission. Chartbuster has a few suits going themselves, evidently.

Just got off the phone with Kathy from CB about 5 min ago....I asked her if the Shinedown song was going to be on the Dec Pop Disc ....she said NO..... BUT...it is avalible for Custom CDGs.
From what I heard the New Dec Pop disc isnt that great.....but we will have to wait and see...as soon as i get the list i will post it for everyone...
Hopefully 2010 will see a better selections of songs come out on karaoke

The disc CLEARLY states one thing and does not include the song.

YOU SHOULD RETURN IT FOR A FULL REFUND

If I got a disc that said one song and it was replaced by a song I didn't even want I would send it back and probably not buy that brand again. Either that or not rip the song I don't want and rip the others.

What is the story on why it was advertised and labeled one thing but actual another ???????????????????????????????????

The Shinedown song in question is already out on Quick Hits disc # 318.

I just got off the phone with them and they stated they had some licensing issues at the last minute and had to replace the production discs song with another, while the artwork & discs were already printed up for the initial release and since it was almost a month behind schedule already, they went ahead & released as is, otherwise it would have taken another 3-4 weeks to get it fixed.
It will be available in custom format - it isn't at this time, however they are sending me a custom disc with that track since I bought it directly from them and primarily for that song as one of the reasons I wanted that disc.

They should send out the song to everyone who purchased the mis-labeled disc
Sounds a little fishy to me .

I think they should add a download link on their web site, for 14 days, for the song for anyone who wants it.

I sent another e-mail because I never got a response to my first one. I said I expected at least an apology for removing the best song from the disk.

Maybe I should call them up and ask for the custom free...as in my mind I have already paid for the song. It was supposed to be on my disk!!

Call them, don't email!

Okay--this is back to the Country one but I just have to say that CB has gone too far with their bad lyrics display thing. You really have to know the song first to keep up as the next verse isn't going to appear until after you need to start singing it. Case in point "Cowboy Casanova:"

1. They cut the intro down but ok so what
2. There is a part in the song where it goes away-ay-ay-oh-eh and blends into the next verse--Chartbuster version has a screen that ends with "away." The next screen starts with "ay-ay-oh-eh" etc. Why split one word into two screens? This has to stop.

PS--the only reason I was even attempting this song is because the people who have been asking for it for weeks haven't been back since it came. Of course.

Woo Hoo. Got the Shinedown song today.
