I can't find anything on their web site past November. I even tried on the site via custom discs. I remember reading here that CB has delayed putting out disc info. I did see it out there by someone else, but I was just looking to put it on my next custom with CB. Which will be in the very near future, but I'm waiting on this song I hope.
Thanks Just went to top hits monthly and it has been released on their Country Jan 2010..just for your info
Thanks Gem.
Thanks also Bruce.

Anyone with specific requests please feel free to email me.
I can't guarantee to fill all of them of course, but I will let each and everyone of you know whether we take up your request.
It is very helpful to get requests from the buyers directly!
Thanks

It looks like they still have them Gemini. I have three of their discs and would buy from them anyday if they had songs I can't get anywhere else.
I much prefer their version of Garth Brooks' Shameless over Sound Choice's version. They were the first to complete the song rather than cut it short.

One of my favorite Pocket Songs discs is the BOSS RADIO Bruce Springsteen disc. It had most of the songs from the Magic Album and although it didn't come with on screen graphics; I made my own graphic files and have sung every song on the disc at karaoke bars and restaurants.
I wish that Pocket Songs would produce more of the older Springsteen material that hasn't already been done by other karaoke companies. I would buy every Springsteen karaoke disc that came down the pike; even if I had to do the graphics myself. GREETINGS FROM ASBURY PARK would be a great album to start with. The Springsteen song, DRIVE ALL NIGHT, would be a must have for me if it were ever to be on a karaoke disc.
Let's call it a late Christmas present, Tom.

Bruce...I did that Boss Radio disc, thanks for the kind remarks. I enjoyed working on that and I wish there more projects like that to do. I'll check out the Bruce songs you just suggested...btw whenever you see a disc without the graphics it's because they wouldn't grant the rights. We always prefer releasing the graphics, though the "Just Tracks" series does very well....
Keep those requests coming!

We haven't done much Broadway since I did the "Wicked" album. Just hasn't been many requests, if any, for Broadway of late....not to mention shows to write home about. Welcome your requests though.

Hi Tom... I don't remember if I met you in person or not (when I went to visit Irv about 3 or 4 years ago), but even tho I don't request it, I would gladly buy new Broadway stuff if you put it out there. I am always looking to keep building on my Broadway selections in my library. I've always felt that PS knows how to do Broadway right.

Hey TH, why wouldn't Pocket Songs compete with some of the online companies that are producing backing tracks? No hassles with sync rights to deal with. If you bring together a bunch of session musicians to produce the songs that you have the karaoke rights; why noy have those same musicians record a bunch of other songs as just backing tracks to sell as downloads from your web site?

Bruce, I'm not sure what you mean...we do have backing tracks under the "Just Tracks" label...they have no onscreen graphics. But you still have to pay for the rights to do the songs...if I'm misunderstanding let me know....
More and more of our work is going onto iTunes and is doing very well. I think it's nice people can put together their own playlist of tracks rather than having to buy an entire album of just one thing...it's a long process, as they have SO many tracks going back for years, but they are slowly showing up.

Almost did Billy Elliott and got distracted with some other "hot" releases we decided to do. That's a really good suggestion....
And "Next To Normal"....gee I really love that show, thanks for reminding me. I will talk to the powers that be and will let you know. We could do a great job on either of those.. the music is wonderful. I'll definitely update you here...
Thanks
Tom

Someone earlier mentioned Hedwig and The Angry Inch, if you could put together a karaoke disc of some of the songs from that show, my crowds would be jumping for joy.

Okay--this is a real obscure tie-in and a very niche market but what about some of the songs from the movie "Smoke Signals?" There are a lot of indigenous artists out there like Jim Boyd, Bill Miller, Ulali, Buffy St. Marie, etc. but the only karaoke we have to offer for the indigenous is "Indian Reservation," "Half Breed," "Seminole Wind" and "Trail of Tears." If we can have Hawaiian karaoke and Russian karaoke and Thai karaoke can we have a bit of Native American Karaoke?
