Forgive me for being ignorant about this, but is compuhost the one that requires the dongle? If so, that would be another issue with me, losing equipment isn't cool. USB ports aren't a problem, just wouldn't want to lose the dongle is all. That's one of the reasons JustKaroke is cool, it's a stand alone program, with good features.

I worried about the dongle too, but it hasn't been a problem. I have yet to hear of someone losing one. I keep mine on a key chain attached to my laptop.

I haven't lost mine either. It's connected to a USB hub Velcro-ed to the inside of my rack along with the sound card and external hard drive. Then it's just one cable to my laptop. I don't have to worry about losing it because it never leaves the inside of my rack.

From Invicion's point of view, the dongle is brilliant. It is the one security method that is 99.99% secure. That dongle is why you never see Compuhost torrents or bootleg copies. If you see someone using it, you know they paid for it.

I looked at Karma a while back and I really didn't like the way it worked. I like simplicity and a very clear user interface. For example, take a look at the free demo for DJMixPro. It's free to download, only around $30 to buy and there is even a more basic, completely free version. It's so simple and clear-very easy to learn and operate. The same goes for a program called Spider player, very simple and easy to learn and operate. Karafun is simple and easy, very straightforward. I can just drag a song into it and double click to play, what can be easier and more intuitive than that?

Karma? I couldn't see how to operate it, it's pretty much a plain black screen. I like simple buttons for play, pause, next song previous song etc. and a simple slider or a little number entry box or + and minus buttons to change the key, tempo etc. If Karma comes out with a simple skin with a simple menu and some buttons I'll give it another look. I can see how some people who think a certain way may like more complicated programs and for them it's not an issue. I like most program functions on one screen and then a simple menu for a secondary level of functions.
