I get Promo Only: Mainstream Radio, Urban Radio, Modern Rock Radio, Country Radio, Urban Club.

The problem I have with Promo Only is there is a fair amount of duplication between the Mainstream and the other series, even beyond the fact that they sometimes put the same song on more than one issue in a series. Besides the fact that a lot of the songs will rarely or never get played, I feel like I would have to subscribe to at least Mainstream, Rock, Country, a couple of Urban series, and whatever the one is that has a lot of latin/reggae on it. That's like over $100 a month for maybe 20 songs I'll use, many of those I will stop playing once they are no longer popular.

Sure, I buy trendy songs off amazon.com that I will play for two months and then perhaps never use again, too; but at least I am spending less money and having more choice. I just have to wait longer until the songs come out for everyone to buy.

I wish Promo Only would offer a super-subscription or something where I could get all the music and video series cheaper. I would pay $100 a month for that, and probably go back and buy a bunch of older video issues to start doing music videos.

I know a KJ who plays videos he rips off from Youtube. I am sure that is illegal, and it really aggravates me that it is so expensive to get into video. I would do video if I didn't feel like I would have to spend at least $2000 for a starter library and another $1000 a year to stay current. I guess that is not more expensive than karaoke though, and videos, while cool, I don't think are worth the investment for me.
