KJ Tools and Super Core were nothing but other manufacturer's karaoke tracks re-packaged and relabeled as something else. You buy whatever you can find in the bargain bin and then sing it's praises as if that will make it a reality. You're the same guy that said that Sweet Georgia Brown set was a great set of discs but the IDOL Makers discs were crap, when in fact, THEY WERE IDENTICAL in every way except(not accept) for their labels.Quik Hits, Big Hits or Big Hitz, Fast Trax, Karaoke Kurrents and now Singers Solutions all ahve identical tracks. The last Fast Trax disc that I could find info on has the exact same track line up as one of the first Singers Solution Disc that I found. Fast Trax Country 415 is exactly the same as Singers Solution Country 415. Coincidence? I don't think so.

If you look for a track listing for Karaoke Kurrents songs; there are many tracks listed with a FAST TRAX number next to them. All of these brands started to surface right around th etime that Radio Starz and Country Starz disappeared. Probably just another coincidence, right?

No real disagreement, sort of.... SuperCore's tracks were certainly compilations of other company's tracks, with whom they had agreements to do so. I am not claiming publisher licensing, but agreements with other karaoke producers. However, when available, I have seen those producers credited with their logos ( DK, MM, TT, and others for example) on SuperCore Discs. No attempt to hide anything. The newr companies that you mention- especially Hot Hits- have certainly copied their tracks, and the tracks of other companies.

However, I have no idea if they have any agreements ( especially since some of those companies have gone out of business since the original agreements with SuperCore), and they have no connection to SuperCore, except whatever tracks that they copied from them.

I mentioned a lot of different karaoke companies. I don't think that I ever mentioned a karaoke company by the name of Hot Hits.

I know, but they have CB songs onthem, logo included.

Bruce, I never claimed that SuperCore was the best thing since the internal combustion engine. I consider them high mid grade. Not as good as SC, DK, CB ( Though they contain some of their tracks) but way better than Stellar, who makes money with quick releases. Stellar is singable, but in my opinion extremely generic.

For the original request about Country songs, I feel that SuperCore's All Country label nowhere near Charbuster, but better than Stellar and All Star.

That's just my opinion. Everyone likes what they like. I've got singers that love Backstage, because that's what they use at home. What can I tell you.....

Hell, even THEY have a couple of halfway decent discs- Neil Diamond, and Queen, for instance. They have a useable Eagles disc too. Not great, but useable.

...Just received an email from one of the stores I've bought from in the past. The update was for Singer's Solution. Noticed it was mentioned here. Is this just a spin off of Quik Hits, Fast Trax, etc.? I've never heard of them.
