Nice work on the signs. I like the color on the first one, but am leaning towards the second one.
Allstar maybe gone, but is Allstar Entertainment or Allstar Karaoke?

How about a singing star? There is nothing that says karaoke. Maybe that is good though in case you decide to spread out to doing DJ work too.

What I was planning was to register all-star then do \karaoke or \weddings and so on 
This way would allow me to brand in different ways towards different audiences.

As to the pics, I personally would be partial to the sparkly blue one. The other one just isn't flashy enough, being all black & white.

Yeah, allstarentertainment is also gone - grrrr.
Also, yeah, I am 100% preferring the first one. The second would be more used for weddings or business functions. I'm a graphic designer, and VERY critical of my work - but something about the colourful logo really works for me

A Name is like anything else ..it should reflect but yet stand out from others in the area also come up with a logo..so people when they see it ..they know its you....hey everyone know what the golden arches are...MCDONALDS....right.....make a impact on you audience

AllStar Party Services
Allstarparty.co.uk (currently available - please don't reg)
Reasoning: I'm also VERY good at event management, party booking, venue booking also. And 90% of my gigs are for parties. Having Party in the domain name adds to the search rankings.

The most interesting name i think Ive heard in a while has been " THE UTOPIA PROJECT"...you needc some that grabs attention..All Star is pretty blah ...need something with more kick!!!

In your case I think your need an UMBRELLA of Names --At top is your Entire Business ( IE PARTY PLANNING) but you NEED names that specializes your services
for web searches etc. KARAOKE / DJ / PRODUCTION / ENTERTAINMENT.
You'll become a gigantic entertainment entity

As such, I feel "AllStar Party Services" does the job. I can then self-promote as AllStar Karaoke, AllStar _____, etc!

The more I think about it, the less I like "AllStar" - it's up it's own a$$ and too cheesy at the same time.
I'm ready to buy a domain today, so really need to get my creative juices flowing...
