Ok I'm not going to get long winded but let's look at a bigger picture.. Flash back to World War 2, Almost all of Europe had fallen, Britian was about to having been in flames, almost all of the south east asia countries had fallen, so for the most part if we use round numbers " 75 % " of the countrys in the word were taken over by the Germans (under Hitler), and his allies, or the Japanise. Shoot, EVEN Mother Russia herself was about to fall. But Who stood up when asked and Joined the fight " America", Korea.. once again it was the American fighting forces that came to help. Each time after it was over, our fighting men & women came home to open arms and parades, we were proud of them and what the had given up to help those in trouble...Now as for Viet-Nam, Ok this one was not so great for us, having served there for 18 months I for one know all to well. The minds of the American people had started to turn, to many people and mostly the PRESS had turned the nation against it fighting men & women. No parades this time, hell we were even spat on and had things thrown at us when we walked through the airports. Yea maybe I'm a little bitter on this one sorry.. But the press has had way to much input, I don't know maybe it's me But when the Towers came down, and we lost so many peole, I was P-ssed off, and even at my age was ready to go.. They had brought death and war to our homes, our people, and our land. It was then and there that we should of done the right thing and just turned it into a sand box. Just think, NO beheadings on tv, No more of our (and othercountrys) young men & women being killed, NO more rape of our young fighting women, OH missed that in the news.. I'm sorry..you need to check page 99 in the fine print, under the funny pages... THAT"S where you'll see what happens to our people.. and guess what, I would even bet the Gas Prices would look a whole lot better...

Yes we are a counrty of non caring, war mongers, who are our for ourselves.... YEA RIGHT< as doc said, THAT is why everyone wants to come here, besides, where else in the world can you go, sneek into the country, get FREE housing, FREE medical, FREE food, FREE education, and Besides all of the FREE stuff, get PAID for not going to work, and staying home having kids, so you can get MORE money for FREE.

I do blame the Press for alot of the problems that we have today, NOT for what is reported, BUT for the way it is reported. Not to long ago, in fact right after 9/11 you could go to almost any town and see a lot of American flags, we had become a nation that was Proud of who we are, now as time has slipped by, and we the American people have started to forget what was done to us, have started to loose or selves again.. You got it America, just sit back, Get relaxed and happy, BECAUSE it will happen again.. REMEMBER... A nation that forgets it's history, IS doomed to relive it.. Think.. Pearl Harbor == New York 9/11

OK, I said I wasn't goimg to get long winded, SORRY.. AND I know I may of P-ssed off a few of what I hope I can still call my friends, But too many brave young men & women from Our country, AS WELL as many others have given to much. Hell come here get all the free stuff you can, BUT let our Vetrans sit and die, while waiting for the medical attention they need, due to red tape and no money.. Seems right don't you think..... HELL NO..

You're not happy with the American way of life, You don't like what the Nation was founded on, It's simple... GO BACK WHERE YOU CAME FROM......

Just 2 observation:

I don't understand the US gun law. most state have little or no control. Kids have bring guns to school and use other student as target.

I don't know why you can can make bad jokes about your president; if he is that bad why elect him?

Asian, generally respect the elders; making fun of your leader is not somthing we asian can understand. Yet you can't say the N' word to a person of a diffrent skin color. Freedom of speech?

Don't confuse "Politically Incorrect" with freedom of speech.

It's OK for a N word to say the N word, (and they do all the time) but it's bad form for other races to say that.

The most restrictive gun law states have the highest murder rates.. by gun..

Something not working? Gun laws only prevent the honest citizen from ownership..

Crooks still have guns, because they refuse to obey any laws at all..

JD we have a similarly PC law here in nz about smacking children...you can be arrested and charged with assault if you smack your childs bottom...which will only prevent the good parents from doing their jobs cos children are still dying from abuse

yep, we have a wide ranging area of where we can speak out on and what we speak out on... yet our hads are virtually tied because of what's PERCEIVED to be good or bad.

I work and live in an area where racial diversity is still very high... got into an arguement with a black guy and he called me every racial slur he could for a white man... I didn't take the bait, though, despite the temptation. What I did do was chew him out publicly, asking if I PERSONALLY had oppressed him, and I'd be very curious to see HOW if he said yes. He ended up trying to take a swing at me...

It is true that there could be a few that might not like what you wrote, maybe not, but I don't think anyone can say that you're not right on the money.
I too love America, and appreciate our veterans,Thank You. And I too get sick of us so often being portrayed in a negative manner, while some of the same bashers have their hand in our pockets.
Several weeks ago you referred to me as your friend in another thread, and that made me feel good. Now I can also say that I am proud that I am. Ron

I think we need to lock down our borders, and any one who dont like it here can ether help us make it right, or go back to where they belong !!!! I get tired of people
complanning about this country, and yet sit back and do nothing but whine!!!!
we need to keep our money over here , we didnt cause those other peoples problems, and it always bothers me that they want us to help, and then try to tell us
