I have to say, I've really enjoyed reading all of your responses in this thread! Babs, your index card idea is awesome, and I fully intend to implement it. I also had an inspiration after reading Karen's post regarding "Pack up the babies." The newer TV game show, "Don't Forget the Lyrics," is easily done in the karaoke setting and what a great idea for a slow night or a special event! By way of a progress report, I have 40% of my CDGs ripped now. Here's a business idea for any of you entrepreneurial types - start a rip-for-a-fee service. I would happily pay someone to rip those CDGs for me, but after scouring the internet, could find no such service -except for some guy on E-Bay that didn't work out. I recently dropped an e-mail to the folks at powerkaraoke who sell the CDG Ripper program that I'm using asking them to incorporate a sound of some sort or dialog box when the rip is complete. I start a disc ripping, begin working on something else and forget to go back and start the next disc. I'm driving myself crazy. Father Time is unkind. I was such a bright young man.
