I actually have this one on an Ameri-Sing disk I bought. AMS4003.

You can buy that at:

Rehab "sittin at a bar" or "bartender song" (same song diff names) .I get requests for that weekly. "all summer long" took a while, but thankfully it is out now.

It's out on PHM and it's done ALL-THE-TIME since I got it.

Maybe other labels by now. It's a big one. Explicit language though...

Some Lindsey Buckingham songs that aren't available from the 80's... I've always felt this was an oversight!

"Slow Dancing"
"Go Insane"
"Trouble" (although I THINK Sunfly just released this!)

There is a Sunfly version of "Trouble", but it's been out for years. It's on Most Wanted 867.

Carly Simon You're the love of my life

anything by Barbara Morrison (american Jazz/blues singer) but specifically You dont know what love is, Dont touch me, Dont go to strangers, etc

Vaya Con Dios - Somethings got a hold on me, Muddy waters, heading for a fall

Clannad - Theme from Harry's Game, I will find you (theme from last of the mohicans) silver dagger, etc

Julie London - Blues in the night (her version is amazing)

Much more Texas Music!!!!!!

Folks like Kevin Fowler, Roger Craeger, Robert Earl Keen, Gary P. Nunn, Jerry Jeff Walker, Jack Ingram, I could go on and on. I don't know if these folks get any airplay outside of Texas, mainly because I never leave Texas, but I know they get played constantly here! If you don't konw about these guys check em out on I-tunes or Myspace music. Especially Roger Craeger!

Pflugerville, you are absolutely right! It is amazing the junk people consider as country music coming out of Nashville these days. The people you mentioned are putting out some great Texas country music. I am really partial to Kevin Fowler. I wish Strait would return to his Texas roots and begin recording in Texas again, leaving Nashville behind. His music would just get better. I dont leave Texas either! Cant see a reason to! lol When it comes to country music, the industry should take a real look at what people in Texas really like to hear. --Mike

I have a couple George Strait recordings, and the quality of musicianship is top-notch. Take a song like You Can't Buy Your Way Out of the Blues...the lyrics and the playing are great: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LD5Z640EFbg

As they say, if you're gonna play in Texas, you gotta have a fiddle in the band ;)

As far as new songs that I want, here is another one I'd really like to see: Ronnie Wood's cover of Bob Dylan's Seven Days (check out the cast of characters in this rendition: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Da1rBUF5gf8 )

Yep...among other things. Still haven't really had time to put together a whole list yet.

Two more that keep coming up with my female singers:

Hot N Cold - Katy Perry
Paper Planes - M I A

But it's just a matter of time.

Both are white hot right now.

I don't know about the rest of you, but "I Kissed A Girl" is not going away but being sung even more every week. If that's even possible. I thought it was going to be short lived but no.... Any more Katy Perry would be welcome so the singers would have more selection.

Geez, why the big NO on Heart songs? They're the rockinest chicks on the planet and put out so much dayum fine music (Anne Wilson is a goddess). They're who I really had in mind with stuff like Little Queen, BeBe LeStrange, I Didn't Want to Need You, Who Will You Run To, Under the Sky, etc. etc. etc.

Janis Joplin (too many to mention)
Pat Benatar (same as above)
Etta James (what a rockin' blueser she still is)
Beth Hart (only a few of hers out)
Tina Turner (some of her covers like the Beatles' Help are outta this world)
Irma Thomas
Lucinda Williams
Rossington Collins Band (reformation of Lynyrd Skynyrd, Dale Krantz is a kicka$$ rock chick)
Melissa Etheridge (some of her older, edgier stuff)

I could go on and on and on.......
