Wasn't it supposed to have come to an end back in 1999? Can't those religious fanatics get they're Armegeddon dates right?

Actually, 2012 is a "magic date". The Myan calendar comes to an end in 2012, and by sheer coincedence so do many of the ancient world's calenedars. During the winter solace of that year our solar system will come very close to lining up with the galactic equator. Suposedly, scientists are predicting the worst sunspot cycle in the last 50 year for that year, and there's even a movie coming out all about the end of the world in 2012.

A few months ago we had a singer hand in her slip and then burst into tears. When I finally got it out of her what was wrong, it was the 2012 thing and all the signs were there, etc. I told her then we may as well go out singing but it didn't go over very well.

Gotta remember to get as many credit cards and lines of credit and max them out and have some fun. But darn they'll come for me in 2013.

Cue, the end of the world people are the mentally ill on the street corners and shysters (not religioous people) out to pick some pockets. In Christianity it is quite clear that the date and time of the end is known only to God. As for other religions, you'll have to ask them.

Not sure who that was directed to, but if me, by using mfrs. discs only, and in possession of receipts, , I keep the responsibility of licensing squarely on the mfrs. shoulders, not mine.If there is a problem with any disc, the absolute worst that can happen is that someone asks that I pull that disc. Any legal problems are still the mfrs.

SC shifted this responsibility in the case of downloads- Usage is the host's responsibility because the product is being used by the host in the U.S, outside of the jurisdiction in which the mfr. is operating legally.
