Well the '60s explains things. Today if an LEO shot a warining shot in the air he or she would be charged for careless discharge of their firearm. Things have changed in procedure in the past 40+ years. I've just finished watching some old "Adam-12" shows. Though this show was done well. many if not most of the procedure they did have vastly changed.

Tim it was a period in my life that I wasnt quite in the right frame of mind. I had that incident tucked away in a far corner with a bit of humor. For some reason your post sort of gave me a "flashback" and stunned me for awhile that is why the tirade. After that I was back to normal or as normal as I can get
I imagine things has changed but I havnt kept up with them. My relationship law enforcement now is open. They realize I can detect role playing and dont take crap but when the chips are down They have support as I can give it, It is the same way with fire departments as I had training in that also my nephews are volunteer firemen in one of the countries best voluteer fire departments. They provide full service for a large portion of Northern Colorado and have a national rep.
