When someone holds a slip out in front of me while I'm singing, I'll either say on the mic "Sorry, no autographs" or wipe my brow with the slip and hand it back, but I still take it after-wards. Sometimes when I'm playing guitar I'll just open my mouth really big and gesture for them to put in there. I'm silly like that. I'm not going to stop the show and I won't refuse the slip, but I'll make people laugh.

Oh, I have no problems taking slips while I'm singing, but it was the demand of "Find me a pencil" while shoving the entire book in my face that I took exception to!
