It's the group, because most other shows you'd go to around here would feature the standards. I get a decidedly "indie rock" crowd at my Tuesday show, because it's in a venue known to host obscure bands, often on the same night as my show. Some recent artists to come through are We Are Scientists, Margot & the Nuclear So and So's, Southern Culture on the Skids, Reverend Horton Heat, etc. This should give you a good idea of who frequents my show.

Yeah, the worst is that I'm working my gig and don't really get a chance to catch the bands. A lot of times, though, they'll come upstairs to my area after they're done and karaoke with me.

Anyway, back on topic. To show the vast gulf between the type of people who frequent my shows, here's what was sung at my regular Thursday gig.

Started around 10PM, and finished around 1:40AM. 46 songs in all, which means I'm once again averaging 13 songs per hour.
