OK, I had a long think about what the end goal is. And have regged "atyourparty.co.uk" and will shortly reg the .com.
So - subdomain karaoke.atyourparty.co.uk / magician.atyourparty.co.uk and so on.
I am interested in doing promotion and this will allow it.
End of the day, it allows me to carry on as "Nik" and begin with an A - both boxes ticked.

That's actually a really clever idea. Liking that a lot.
I was going to suggest 15 Minutes Entertainment, or something similar. When searching for a name for my company, it was at the top of my list (you know, Warhol's 15 minutes of fame comment applied to karaoke singers), but it was taken locally, so I opted for a suggestion from my former partner's wife: Hi-Vox Entertainment. Both of us are singers from the old school of heavy metal with ultra high voices. High vocals = hi-vox. It was ambiguous enough to not be too specific (no one has guessed the meaning of the name without being told), and left things open-ended enough for regular DJ work, which has since become the bulk of my business.

I like the 15 minutes idea - really works. Could have changed to "15 minutes of fun" to be a little more "fun" but then again - would you want to say that about yourself

In looking for a name for when my co host does shows alone I thought about superstar karaoke. decided against it as there is a "rising star karaoke" in the area..nice people , but i did not want the association. I still have not come up with a name, but liked the "boom" idea as one of my friend / competition has Buzz in his name.

Funny thing - I was wearing a T-shirt on Saturday night at the gig I was doing, just had a picture of a "boombox" on the front. Washday - nothing clean, right?
Anyhow, I put it on, pick up the missus and head out. Stop at a cash point to get some beer tokens for later. She's stood behind me and just goes "Boooooooooom".
I look at her like "What the hell"? Again with the "Boooooooooom" pointing at me.
"Sorry luv, you lost it!"
She just says "You haven't seen the back of your shirt have you"?
I take it off, turn it around...
"BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!"
D'oh!

Jam this is precisely what I do. My parent company is creative audio nz ltd (yes it was available I left it to my accountant to check and pay an annual sum on my behalf)
under that umbrella I do my voice over work, my ads and jingles. then I have No Strings Attached which is the vocal duo and finally I have me  for my sporting comentaries, MC'ing, solo gigs (if I prefer) but most of the time I still use No strings attached signage for them _________________ "Be who you are and say what you feel...
