I'm sure I could get a place for a SUNDAY afternoon. My OLD bar would love to have some business on a SUNDAY afternoon.
If enough KS members committed to go I would offer to host for free for a fun afternoon to meet people. The place is small but has a nice back room - the bar is a typical BEER AND SHOT place in the middle of KEYPORT New JERSEY right on a marina.
I couldn't see the manager turning down some added business.
If interested let me know and I can see what I could put together
edited: I have 2 places in the KEYPORT NJ area for a Karaoke get together if interested !!!

I propose Saturday night, April 10th. If you think we can have any kind of an audience, then Sunday would be OK too.

Here I go and propose a date, and I have a gig on it! I don't have a regular gig right now, but I do occasional ones. I forgot I had a gig for April 11.
Since not many people are jumping on this bandwagon, I doubt it will come off. But I will commit to being there Saturday night April 3 or Sunday April 4th. I just checked my calendar, and no gig.

I was good for a March Weekend, but ya lost me in April.... My work nights change over the 1st week of April, and I will be working Thur. thru Sun. nights until July.

The previous weekend is good for me, too. I was just thinking April because I'm not sure the East Coast will be unburied anytime before then!

I would need to know specifics.... City/Town/Zip Code... so that I could book a cheapie Motel.

At this point I think we need to start all over  !!!
Right now I have 2 gigs --- Friday Nights and Every other Saturday
Friday Nights is in Jackson NJ ( right by 6 flags amusement park)
The Saturday gig is in a small Liguor Store /Bar ( see pics in other discussion)
The Sunday gig I was hoping to get --is in the process of rebuilding as they are right on the water and the storms of few weeks ago had them under 4ft of water !!!
Who is still interested ????

I remain interested, but somehow a get together of one doesn't seem the right thing to do. I can do that most any time....

Isn't there a Northern Jersey or other NYC metro Kj that can offer a nice venue for a weekend, perhaps Saturday, get together?
