BTW, I really don’t feel a need to explain myself to you people but just to clear things up so you can rest easier, the wink I gave Mark was cause… I was just basically quoting what he said, if you look back on page 2 of this thread at 1 of his comments, you’ll see he said the same thing I said, I just added a wink to my comment. You should read the entire thread before making judgments.

Well I’m sure if Mark has a problem with my opinion & the way I expressed it then he should come see me directly… you boys/girls go on bout your own business.

"You boys/girls?"

And we will - even without your permission.

Sorry Seattle, but all those songs are easy for me. Not that I sound great but they aren't that hard. I understand we are looking for songs that have continual "hardness" in them but the hard songs for me are that one or two notes.

Loverboy Turn Me Loose
Aerosmith Dream On
Boston More Than a Feeling

Okay, here is one that should meet the requirements. How about The Loadout Song by Jackson Browne? The "why don't you stayyyyy" at the end is pretty high!

Not a problem. Nor is Love Hurts or Shannon by Henry Gross.

Songs that are just out of my range, Piece of Mind, Long Time, Go Away Little Girl (by Donny Osmond).

I happen to like this song myself. Since I only have the Osmond version, I swallow my pride and hit the digital keychange. However, the song was originally done by Steve Lawrence, and I tried it at someone else's show- no key change necessary... :D

ATTENTION: People, please... stop picking on Andrea. I sorta had that comin' to me, the way I've been acting lately. I don't blame her in the least.

Julie, is that you? I haven't seen you in ages! How have you been?

Anyway, I say "no harm, no foul." For anyone wondering why I didn't put a song up at SS today, it's because I had an appointment today... NOT because I'm mad about any mud-slinging that might be going on around here. I'll probably be back next week (for anyone who cares, lol). Peace out!

Elvis Presley's "Don't Cry Daddy".

Nope, not technically difficult, but I choke up every time I try it, and can't get through....

Been there. But only while learning a song / practicing it I believe. I think I'm to nervous while I'm singing in front of the bar for the lyric emotion to take over..

I appreciate your understanding. The thing is, despite all the years in the biz, I too am nervous when I sing- but still can't get through that one...
