So...I'm up at the crack of dawn, no coffee (TYVM Kapster) and I had to take someone to physical therapy. We're waiting in the office which is cheerful. There's a gymnasium nearby and I'm thinking there's going to be tons of eye candy. What do you think I saw? Loads of men aged 60-80 going in for their workouts. I was wicked impressed!

So anyways, one walks in in his training gear with a woman with a walker. She's had her hip replaced. He was tall, older than DIRT, and more vibrant than many young men I've seen! A couple who were waiting were friends of his and he introduced the woman as his "friend"...now you know my ears perked up at this! The woman was prolly 20 years younger than him and he seemed quite the rascal!  LOL! Well, as he started to explain about his "friend" he leaned in to the guy in the wheelchair and said something obviously naughty! When she wanted to know what he'd said and he opened his mouth to tell her, somebody turned on the paper shredder!!!  :bigcry:  :banghead: So anyways, he leaves and the couple says to give their regards to his WIFE! After he's gone, the lady is pumping his "friend" for info and just when they are getting to the good stuff...you guessed it...PAPER SHREDDER....

:crying2:

Anybody got any juicy news to share?????? LMAO

Regarding Lena's story...

It seems that although we age physically, despite our age, some things emotionally just don't change beyond a certain point.. Which is good.  The only change in ME personally since my teens is that I've aged.. In terms of attraction, although I'm attracted to females more within a reasonable radius of my age.. NOTHING else has changed, nothing has even declined... Times of course have changed, so behaviour must accomodate the times... But regarding feisty, playfulness, I've learned a thing or three regarding interrelating with others, but deep down, some things including basic feelings and ways don't really evolve much over (at least a 30+ year span) in MY particular case.. Now I have no children (that makes a difference I'm sure in a persons mindset), but as a single male now, some things just haven't really changed in terms of thoughts ,feelings and sensation..

I find that very interesting...and the one thing about this man was that he was soooo outgoing. And when I said he was a bit of a rascal, I didn't mean it as a negative...EVERYONE in the room was paying rapt attention to him and he had such a zest for life. It really tickled me. And he knew he was the center of attention and was just eating it up!! He must have been close to 90, but to hear him talk, he really was young at heart!

Well, there is a storage closet in the back of the Ballroom that has been used in many ways other than for storage, if ya know what I mean! Those seniors get pretty frisky with each other, you'd be surprised at the things they say to each other.

About a month ago, one of the female members {80 yrs} got into a physical fight with another member {75 yrs} over Stan {Male member} I think he is like 75 too.  They actually fought, it was the most insane thing I have ever seen.  I felt so bad because I like them both & I didn't want them to get hurt.  It was pretty easy to break them up though  LMAO

They were arguing for about an hour before they fought, but I would have never guessed it would end up in a fist-fight teehee...

We have card-players at my center too, they basically sit around all day and play poker.  WOW, sometimes they get rowdy and out of control, and their language is one to be desired really!  They got into a few fist-fights too, and once we even had to call an ambulance because one guy threw a chair at the other and busted open his head.  It was terrible!

Ahhhhh ya gotta love those old folk!

I know,  some things about us don't really change.. Our basic personality type and zest can outlast some of lifes hardships.. I think it depends on maturity level.. Suprisingly enough IMHO..  It takes a mature person, who WANTS to be happy to stay young at heart..  and why not ?   Why make life tougher than we need to ?
