Lexicon MX200, MX300, or MX400. Does it matter? Looks like 400 is stereo surround. I can't find the difference between the 200 and 300?

They are only $100 per level going up, I'm trying to find out if it would be worth it to spend the extra $100 or $200 on this as opposed to just buying the MX200.

Thanks.

I believe most of the extra features of the MX300 are the DBX compression and de-essing, and the XLR connectors.

I asked about it, and was told the reverbs are the same. The salesman told me that unless I planned on doing DAW work with it, or using it in the insert path for single-channel compression and effects, that I would be just as happy with the MX200 as with the 300.

Just personal preference, the compressor does work in the Lexicon I did put the 266 xL back in the rack (insert mode)The lexicon in series with a  Bbe 362 and Aphex 104.  The Lexicon is too good a unit not be using with music also but it still works with vocal modes in series.

I am currently waiting for a part for the the 266xl but I would be lost without any of the 3 above. No brag just fact I have sang with many band systems for decades and many karaoke systems. I do have the best and the Lexicon is a very important link in the system....

We can play old big band In The Mood and it sounds like the orchestra is there in person. I have heard many systems Every time my host does a sound check it blows me away week after week.
