#1 - Will you pay (so&so), I don't have it...It's right here in your book...That's Karaoke not Music to play.  "Stupified Look"
#2 - Tap, Tap, Tap..Is this thing on?  It's always on, now QUIT tapping on it!!!
#3 - You have 4 versions of this song, which is better?
#4 - The song is too fast (it doesn't matter that you are too drunk to sing???)
#5 - Do you have "picture" or "before he cheats"

For duplicate listings

What is the difference between all these versions?
Which version would you recommend.
Can you give me the best version?

I have a couple of people who always complain.

That song does not have this or that right. Ie different key or tempo, insturmental solos etc. Not only that they are usually talking about an obscure song that is only made by one or two companies.

Another question is ...

Where does karaoke music come from....

Or what is even worse, I want to add...is the same person coming up.."I want to sing this, I want to sing that"  Then they seem to feel slighted when I ask them to fill out a slip and get inline....hehehe, they just assume that since they want to sing right now and told me..that they will be more important than everyone else and be right up.  The funny part is, they do it again and again....MrD

Usually when someone complains the music isn't right in the song it is when they don't know the song and can't sing it. Now that bugs me because they'll say something negative about my karaoke as an excuse for not doing well. It is rare, but it happens.

I only carry one version of a song unless it is sung by different artists. People pick their songs not by manufacturer version, but by the artists. So I get the question which artist is the version I want. That is so much easier to remember than all the manufacturing codes for every song.  :D

One of my pet peaves too. I'll fill out the first slip for someone, but after showing them how to do it, it is up to them to do it themselves. I am fortunate that the majority of my people are regulars and trained in the ways of karaoke. They understnad they have to wait their turn. It's usually new people who don't understand they aren't the only person in the bar that sings. I hate the guy that yells from the crowd me me next. As if they will get up sooner.  LMAO

I love the folks who bring in a regular audio CD and think because I do karaoke that my system must have some way to make it show words on the screen.

I got one of the stupidest questions all time last Friday.  Finished the show, played three bumps (dance tracks) and closed the show.  Packed up all my gear and returned the bar to its original state and the jukebox was back on.  As I'm taking my first post show deep breath, this guy comes up and asks ... "Are you still taking slips?"
