Hi everyone,
Been awhile since I've posted.  I'm trying to locate a specific TOP TUNES CDG, TT246. I know they've gone to karaoke heaven (or the other place   ), BUT, a very special "regular" of mine wanted to do the duet " Baby it's cold outside", the Dino and McBride version, and that disc seems to be the only one, as far as I can tell, that has it. Sooo, if anyone wants to unload that disc, or know of another disc maker that carries that same version, please get back to me. At least I'll have it for NEXT year. OH, BTW,...HAPPY BELATED NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!!

Hi Cueball,
Thank you for your efforts. Unfortunately, that particular disc is not in stock. I had been to that very website during my search. But I truly thank you for trying to assist me.

Hi tbreen,
I want to thank you also. I was aware of that disc also. I did get a chance to hear the Top Tunes as well as the Star disc and was hoping for the Top Tunes version. If I can't get it, I'll prbably get the one you searched out.
Thank you, both of you. It's attitudes like yours that make me keep coming back....every now and then.

Happy New Years to you both,

steve that only works when you have the input while on the site... look at the url... doesn't have the song, disc, etc...

"No criteria selected." is the error I get when clicking that link.

Hi Cueball,
I went to that site, and it's unavailable. Not interested in making a custom cdg. I'm old and fussy. Want the "real deal". Anyway, thanks again for trying to help me out. It IS appreciated.

When it brings you to that page, at the top you can type in "Baby It's Cold Outside" and then hit search. I don't know if it's out of stock or not at this site.

Am I the only one who's heard of Google?

Just because they show up on a google search doesn't necessarily mean that it is currently in stock at the store listed.  A few months back there was someone looking for a song & we gave literally dozens of links (from Google) - none of them had the disc in question.  Google isn't necessarily up to date (or many search engines for that matter).  Just a good starting point.

I understand that, but I wasn't just listing the results that showed up on Google.  All 3 stores show the disc as being available to order.

Yep a handful of stores showed the disc in stock when we posted links before as well for the scenerio I outlined.
DTS is especially bad at updating their inventory through their website, they had a Sound Choice 8148 listed as available for years after it was discontinued & they had been sold out for almost as long.  And the link posted by Cue (2nd post) was a link to DTS & it wasn't in stock when he called to order which proves my point, just because it says so on the web, don't mean it is.
The other 2 i've never heard of.

Hi Re Invention,
DTS and Altech?...not in stock. Cheaperkaraoke....I sent an email to find out if it is,,,HOWEVER,,,they want $19.99 for the disc, and $11.99 to ship. A little pricey.....no?  :dontknow:

But thank you for your efforts and BTW....yes I know how to "Google". Been there done that....."TOWSANDS" of times. ( so...I'm Irish....wanns drink then fight or fight then drink... :argue:   hehehe  :beermates:

I'll let you all know what the deal is with "cheapo" when/if they respond.

Thank you Lonnie (for pointing out that I had already given a link to DTS Karaoke and that Donny had found out that they don't have it in stock). And you are correct... a lot of these Karaoke sites DO NOT UPDATE their sites. So, as you stated, just because they have it listed, does not mean they have it.

Post subject:  Re: TOP TUNES CDGs

A word of caution about Top Tunes.  If you use a databased songbook program ( ex:  KJPro)  Please note:

For reasons known only to themselves, Top Tunes has entered icorrect track listings of virtually ALL of their discs onto these databases.  You will have to enter them by hand using the disc label as a guide to be sure your book is correct..

This means that just because a disc is LISTED with a particular song, it may not actually be on it.

SUGGESTION:  Although the TT version is the only one listed under "duet" It is not the only Dino/McBride version. Some are listed under just Dean Martin, some are listed as both.

I KNOW the version that you are looking for is, for example, on Star Disc SD4702, but not listed under "duet".  I would also check SC2455 version, with only Dean's name listed, as well as Music Maestro MM6419-1, listed the same way. These may also be the duet, and of better quality.

Hi JoeChartreuse,
Ok. I realize what your saying. The MM version is not a "true" duet. They've already got a female doing that part and just Dino is the karaoke aspect.
The StarDisc is a true duet. I haven't been able to track down the SC one, and if I remember corectly, the Top Tunes is also a true duet. Just to let you all know that I have been searching also, not letting you people do ALL the work. But as always, your efforts and factual tibits are really appreciated.
