I have a couple of questions hoping someone can help me out with.
1. I noticed that sometimes the text on some cdg files won't burn...only the mp3 works. I always double check to make sure the file names are the same so I know it isn't that.
2. Also, sometimes when I convert to bin, a file occasionally comes out as .raw instead of .bin...which consequently won't work when burned to a CD. Is there any way to remedy that?
I use mp3+Gtoolz2 to convert, make a que file and then Nero to burn.
Thanks!

the .raw file is a trash file. delete it...
You should only have three files you are concerned with. In the ripping process, you have a .bin. In the conversion process, you have .mp3 and .cdg.
When you convert them BACK to .bin, the .mp3 and .cdg files HAVE to be named the same, otherwise you won't get the .bin.

Sometimes when I convert to a .bin I get a .raw instead...which won't burn onto a CD. I was wondering what causes that sometimes and if there's anyway to make that .raw into a .bin as it should be. It only does it on some tracks.

Mrs. Redhead1,
"It happens every so often."
I've had that happen when I used to burn using that method. After switching to MTU's microstudios,
from their Forum, I've learned to beware of bin files.
Due to amount of Errors/Corruption, Some bins have no Audio, some come out as Raw files.
Fortunately, I don't ever use that method again. You can't forsee the Errors.
After Adding CDGFix to my arsenal, I've learned how to repair (Deep Scratches) and Errors/Corrupt Files.
CDGFix Really comes in handy, after playing a disc several dozen times,
the Errors often show up. Click a couple of tabs and... Perfect Again.
Today, with CDGFix and Microstudios, I produce Perfect Discs Every Time!
Often better than the Originals.
Knightshow is right, delete the raw file, it's trash.
Kind Regards,
sw00000p

Thanks sw00000p...this sounds like very helpful info. I have another question. Would I have to use Microstudio after scanning my Cdgs with CDGFix or could I still use the mp3+GToolz and Nero? I'm a little technically challenged. What does Microstudio replace...both a bin converter and a burner?

If your Technically Challenged....... Use Microstudios or Power CDG Burner!
With Microstudios, you don't have to convert your cdg to bin. Load the Disc and burn.
CDGFix is Powerful and Challenging! Many features readily accesible to the novice user.
I strongly suggest you use Microstudios or Power CDG Burner instead of mp3toolz an Nero.
Kind Regards,
sw00000p

Mrs. Redhead1,
Power CDG Burner is the least expensive and will do what you want perfectly.
