Can somebody give me opinions about sound quality of Vocopro band?
Any suggestion of Vocopro models that provide the best combination of price and quality? Somebody suggests me of DA-X9,or DA-X10, what do you think?

Go with a Mackie or Yamaha or even (dare I say) Behringer, you'll be better off with better sound & expandability options later.

Heavens! Now you know how much Lonnie dislikes VocoPro!

If you decide to part with the scratch and get a Yamaha, get one of the models with "one-knob compression", which I understand works well. (I don't know if the Mackie mixers have that, but it seems like a welcome feature, one which any new mixer ought to have.)

I have a Vocopro 7800. So far so good(I've only had it a couple months). I have heard others on here trash them. I like the video input/output and its rack mountable. Makes my job easier. I think the sound is pretty clean but I've heard better and I've heard worse.

I gotta admit I'm a fan of most anything Mackie.

I just HAVE to tank (dis) VocoPro. Way back, I tried one of their mixers with all the "bells and whistles" and it was the biggest HEADACHE I ever encountered. One channel quit after two days, PLUS, the digital key changer would revert back to "0" while a singer was performing. (not good) I sent that back for a replacement...same problem ( all channels were working, key changer..same problem) I STILL have an archive of e-mails, letters, etc., etc., from them telling me what they THOUGHT might be the problem. Finally they admitted that the chip in the key changer was the culprit, BUT...were not going to change or upgrade due to a contractual agreement.
(that means too bad you got a lemon) Anyway, due to that experience (ya..I got ALL my money back) and all the different reasons that about 5 different techs (all theirs) gave for the problems, I was done with them. The best part of the whole situation was, the place I bought it, the OWNER, also told them (VocoPro) that he had witnessed the problematic key changer, and they blew him off. If I recall, he doesn't carry their products anymore. HHHMMMM! Why is THAT??!! OK, that's enough. I guess some people will still buy their products, but ME?? NOT EVER AGAIN!!!

I use a Peavey 16fx, best mixer I ever owned. Used Yamaha, Mackie and Behringer before.
