Hi folks, I was reading a lot on this forum and finally decide to join you guys. Anyhow, here's the matter: I just bought a brand new in a box Crown Amplifier XS500. Right after ordering it, I realized, that it's not sufficient for my speakers. So I'm reselling it. The specs for the amp: http://www.brandtoyz.com/p-9169-crown-xs500.aspx Power Output (Xs500): 2-ohm Dual (per ch.): 750W 4-ohm Dual (per ch.): 500W 8-ohm Dual (per ch.): 400W 4-ohm Bridge: 1600W 8-ohm Bridge: 1450W Like I said, brand new in a box, never opened! Crown is know for quality amps, so this is a good deal, if the Power Output fits your needs. Make me an offer! Thanks =) |

Not a bad price. WOuldn't mind picking it up myself, but can't at this time. 400 watts per side was too low for your cabs, what are you running? Get a sub & run it bridged :D |

I just took a dive and bought 2 EV SX500+. Great Speakers! Yeah, I know... the price is great! So come on people. This is indeed a great amp! If nobody is interested, I might do that @ Subs. Thanks for the idea! |

Actually don't know if you run mono, if you parallel both those cabs to a 4 ohm load & bridge the amp, the power output is right in line with what the speakers program rating would be at 4 ohms. |
