Ok Hey we go,... I'm trying to upload a photo, to my profile, keeps coming back saying must be smaller than 10kb, my photo says it's 1.43 mb.. Now I'm not the smartest computer guy but is not a mb smaller than a kb ??? HELP.... Thank...Tom |

A mb (megabyte) = 1000 kb (kilobytes) so an mb is larger. Your 1.43 mb file is actually 1,430 kb. |

I think I had my decimal off. 1000 bytes = 1 kb 1000 kb = 1 mb 1000 mb - 1 gb 1000 gb = 1 tb Here is a quick converter http://egret.net/kb__mb.htm |

For example, 1KB = 1024 bytes, 1MB is 1024 KB, etc. Not only that, make sure you use the right capital letters. KB=Kilobytes Kb=Kilobits. 8 bits = 1 Byte. So, MB does not equal Mb. |
