Just wanted to wish everybody here at K~Scene a happy holiday and a great 2004! I haven't been around much, but I try to pop in when I get a chance ... since I'm not a KJ it's like being the black sheep of the family hehe! But I try to join in when I can! :roll: I see Barry has passed me up on the number of posts ... I guess that means I have to give you the key's to the K~Scene penthouse ... darn! I really liked it! Just give the hot tub 20 minutes to warm up ok Barry?

You're.. not the Black Sheep.. we are all a family.. and during the holidays.. we kinda "Flock" together during this special time.

I got a sincere shock today, I sang a "Christmas Eve-Day" show today at one of Ron's venues today.. and just before my second song.. as there was a fast rotation.. I recieved quite a suprizing phone call as only one person in the world knew I was there.. My mother had called and informed mee that my Brother who had been fighting in Iraq since may had suprized us all.. meaning he was on R&R and informed no one and found the whole family here in New Mexico for Christmas and arrived without notice..
I was too excited to sing more than the next song.. and had to leave.

A christmas gift that will surely be remembered for a long time..

And I truely Believe "There Are Angels Among Us" Because another one just came home.. :wink:

I can testify that Brian was pretty excited :D and rightfully so. Tell your brother Merry Xmas and Happy Holidays. I know he has to go back, but tell em we're proud of him and all the men and women over there doing what they do :!:

Ron,
Thanks The family Dinner was an extremely special time.. we had believe it or not recorded the "WHOLE" family dinner on video. and being my brother who is a Musician/Vocalist himself and also my former partner also in the Former North Dakota Division.. when I had it..Also pulled out the instruments and taped some jamming in the home studio and did some karaoke with the family. It was an extremely special time.
I'm proud and honored to get the quality time to share with him,
and he knows many people are proud of the work they are doing over there. He looked pretty tired when he came in and slept not much after the family left.. I think I'll give him his space.. he needs a break.
But I did get to see some pictures of Iraq also.. not a great place to live..

I definately count my blessings.. after hearing his story earlier tonight..

lets see i was doin 20 in max for armed robbery...then i went to rehab for my oxycontin addiction....then i saved the third world from total annihalation...then i took out the trash and did the dishes....awwww who am i kiddin ...i was on my (@$%&#!) watchin joe millionaire.......honestly i have been busy with my recordings and got heavily involved in that daretosing website...im sorry i shined you guys for awhile, i didnt mean anything by it....the rap just started gettin more into the kj thing and not bein one i felt kinda clueless....but i see you have a singers showcase here so maybe ill be comin around more...i did think about all you psychos though in my absense..glad to see everyones still alive.....who would have thunk it ...good to be back guys.....

A belated Merry Ho-Ho to all, and a Happy New Year. Been gone since Christmas, and need to catch up a bit. Watchin' the Rose Bowl as we type.
Some may remember my birthday bash was the 20th and everyone had a good time. They even let ME sing.
