Using 2 amps, right and left mains are going into the tops (#1 amp)
the subs are being fed by the Main mix mono out.(#2 amp)   There is no way to control the bass volume.   Any idea which control will adjust the bass volume?  I know about the mono volume knob beside the mono jack, but is there a knob on the face of the mixer that will do anything to the bass only.    It needs to be louder than it is now.

The recommendation was the Aux Sends Master, but totally up or totally down makes no difference.

Best bet would be to get an external crossover.  Main out to the crossover, the highs to the top speakers (amp combo), lows to the sub.

Found the problem.  The reverb was already in AUX #1.  The Aux #2 does the sub volume.

get an external xover you will not regret it. you will have much more controll over what frequency you actually cross over at and the volume on each amp.

Agreed. When I go for my subs, I will definitely buy a crossover with it. Since I probably go with EV subs and own EV tops I might go with the new EV crossover coming out in February, which has pre-settings for all of their speakers.

Another great choice is the dbx 223XL or if you want to get fancier, go with their Driverack PA.  Even though they have setting more geared for JBL/Crown combos, with the built in pink noise generator, RTA, and auto eq, you can get any system tuned to the romm it's in, plus store the presets for each room.
