hi i have bought a plextor px-w5224a and when i try to read disc it says this writer is not compitable any help plz

Ask plextor on their site. Look for their "tools" download.
It still may not work with CD+Gs or your program. Only certain drives are CD+G enabled. You must check the specs before you buy.

wincdg pro reads the disc but not microstudio .ty

yeah, Plextor's getting out of the game.
PM POWERKARAOKE... he's a member here, and claims he can get most burners to work with his system!

hi i need microstudio to work with my plextor because i am ripping the tracks off a disc to change the keys,then burn them again.ty

You're saying that the program you want to use won't recognize the burner... and then saying that you have to use that program.
GET ANOTHER BURNER!
Personally, I'd get an older plextor or liteon drive from ebay, and use that since you're now limited to using a specific program.
