Tuesday at the new job, while setting up, there are 4 rug ratz running around screaming and yelling back by the pool tables. 2 couples each had 2 kids 6-10 years of age. Guessing. During karaoke the kids are crawling on hands and knees around the booths playing hide a seek. I don't think too many people go to bars to see kids running around undisciplined. Most people go to a bar to get away from the kids they left at home. The question is...Would you complain to the management about uncontrolled, disruptive kids running around during your show or just even at the bar period? |

At every bar I work, all children under 21 must leave by 9pm. This isn't a law, but just something the bar owners have decided. If I was in your position, I would let it be known that if the children damage anything, their parents will be held responsible. If the owner allows children, and it's not against the law, there doesn't seem to be much else you can do. |

Oregon has a law that children are not allowed on the premises after 9pm not sure what state you are from but obviously this is bad for business. I would discuss it with the bar owner and get his angle on it. He may be fine with it...who knows. Obviously a bar is no place for children to be running around unsupervised..which sounds like the case. What is it with parents these days anyway Some states have laws regarding taking children into places where smoking is allowed, is this a non-smoking bar? Can't believe people subject their kids to second hand smoke after all the data available on the subject. Repost with the bar owners slant on things...It will be interesting to see what he or she thinks. |

I see several reasons for him not to say anything about it. Brand new bar and he needs to make money from anyone at this time. 4 adults & 4 kids. I don't know if they all ate before i got there. That's a nice tab. LCB says kids are allowed until 10 when accompanied with a parent or guardian. It was almost 11PM before they left and the kids had school the next day. So it had to be 11:30 before they got to bed. The moms were hot looking. But total blondes if you get where i'm coming from. Just keep you mouth shut and look pretty. Don't try to sing anymore...please I can see why he wanted them to stay. Nice eye candy for single guys to drink and oogle. |

They never came near my equipment, but they were making a lot of noise, yelling and running around. |
