Looking for some suggestions for Karaoke Theme nights. |

My birthday is the 19th. One thing that works is have a signup sheet for everybody that has a birthday for the month. One night that month everybody comes gets a free shot and maybe even gets to sing two songs in a row the first rotation. I was talking to my host and said we need to setup a night where somebody else ran the show and we could sit there and drink. He laughed and said Who could we trust? So my theme I want is let's get Ollie drunk and maybe get lucky

We've done 50's, 60's, 70's, disco exclusive, 80's glam, tacky dress nights, pajama nights (these are fun on birthdays) just off the top of my head. |

We did a Karoake Pajama Party that was really alot of fun. |

Caribbean night- dress up in tropical attire... giveaways.. Casino Night- dress up in casino attire (tuxedos, formal dress etc) Sports Night- dress up in fave sports attire- jerseys, cheerleader etc Mardi Gras/fat tuesday- dress in fave costumes for mardi gras - can have this night even if not on mardi gras Oldies- fave 50-60's attire beach party- fave beach attire... even had one place where we used to truck in about a foot of sand to cover the whole club... fiesta- fave fiesta attire... you can have giveaways that fit each theme or whatever works where you are... drink specials, food specials, music specials etc... tig |

Down here in Orlando I have people that will do just about anything at the drop of a hat. But you will always still have to advertise about a month in advance and get on some people every week to remind them of what special event coming up so they can get organized and BUDGET for the different types of themes. Some that I have done already mentioned: 60's, 70's, 80's, Hawaiian Luau & pajama party. Not mentioned yet: Country night, toga party, leather & lace night and pimps & ho's. The best ones where the crowd has had the most participation are the ones where sex sells. More people come in to see what's going on than the regulars that frequent the bar, and in turn they start to become regulars. Best participation: pimps & ho's. Best fun / themed night: pajama party Why? I had made up 4 pages of stickers (mailing labels: 2" x 4") with the words "I normally sleep naked", everybody wanted one. Some girls wanted 2 and umm... can we just say placed them creatively on them selves. I totally ran out of them half way through the night and still people wanted them. The bar always gave away one free well, wine or draft beer for everybody that participated in theme nights. As for giveaways, just have the owner or manager talk to the alcohol distributors for stuff: hats, shirts, key chains, etc... they can get lots of stuff to promote their "products".
