Arright... this is semi serious...

Anyone got a suggestion for a better version? It's sung a lot in my room. Twice last night. All I've got is SGB and some disc called Rebel Sync (which I bought because it has the only version I know of Crazy B###h). Anyway neither are very good at this one.

I could go safe choice  with SC I guess. But it's sometimes not the best choice for  this type of music. But if you have it on SC and like it let me know. Or any other brand.

Thanks-

The Sound Choice version is decent, most likely much better than the version you have.  Our singer preference is for the DK version over the Sound Choice (most likely due to the fact they were used to the DK version at our show first) if you can find it.

Great. Thanks Lonman. Do you remember if either (or both) versions have the last line "I honestly do" in them? They love that part!

Both of them do, don't the versions you have?  Those are standard lyrics to the song, not like a backup vocal where they wouldn't put the swipe in.

Bill, don't mean to hijack but since you already got an answer, how's the version of  " Crazy B**** " I have thought about getting that same disc for that song.

Crazy ##### is a lot better than the Rebel Sync version of I touch Myself. It's not perfect, but boy does it get sung a lot. I had to get it. I can't believe that none of the big guys has a version of it out yet. It's been a couple of years and this is still really happening with the  under 30 group.

Lonman... no the SGB version of I Touch Myself ends early. That's why I was asking. I just checked where I order my CDs and no DK but SC is $17.49 so that's probably where I'll go with this. Thanks- BH

Thanks Bill, yeah I was wondering why no one else has " Crazy B**** " out either. I'ts one of those crowd participation songs that gets everyone going. Copyright expense problems maybe, who knows. " Next 2 you " is another bad a** Buckcherry song I wish they had.

I was telling Lonnie that Sunfly just put out " Vasoline " by Stone Temple Pilots a song that I had been wanting for a long time, yet that song came out years ago. Good version of it too. No rhyme or reason sometimes.

The big guys haven't put it out yet because Buckcherry absolutely refuses licensing to karaoke, so what you have wasn't legally done.   Not saying you didn't legally purchase it from a legit store, just saying the manu did not have the right to reproduce a karaoke version.

If your club (obviously) don't have a problem with lyric content, that version of I Touch Myself also has The Rodeo Song & The I-95 A$$hole song - highly requested at other shows I have done so it won't be a waste!

As someone who sings the song occasionally I prefer the DK over the SC, not because it was what I was used to (I had the SC first) but because the overall sound and instrumentation is better IMO.  And just as an aside the lyrics are misplaced on the SC version at the end, not sure if that'd be a big deal to you but wanted to mention it.

Hiya Lonnie  :oh yeah:

Is the DK version you two have been talking about this maybe?

DKA3095

I can get this one. It says DK Applause series. If that's it, it's still available.

Lonnie... it's weird. I've had Rodeo song in the book but no one has sung it. Ever. I'm thinking maybe they are mostly too young to know it. But it's also an off-color song of another type and maybe that's it. And every bar is different, that's for sure, and I'm often surprised at what takes off and what doesn't in a room.

Not the same disc, but is the same version.

I'm surprised, I get people asking for it at least a couple times a week -  not that we can do it in our club anyway.
